No, I’ve not fallen off the face of the earth, it may have appeared so, as I have not “blogged in” for a while. I have been waiting to hook up with Steve to get his photos of the “Big Ride” which we did on Sunday morning. Also on Sunday, the half marathon from UBC to Stanley Park. Aleha ran a personal best at 2 hours according to the very expensive and fancy count your time/steps/etc watch. It was a perfect day for a marathon. We cheered her on from the Burrard Street Bridge and the finish line, then back to the Bayshore for a shower and a lovely lunch on the patio.
I was trying to decided which group of people (of which we were one), was a hinderance in a big crowd – the people with babies and children in buggies or the people with dogs or the people who rode their bycycles and walked through the crowd with the bulky thing. I decided the people with the bycycles hindered the traffic flow the most. Yes, you are correct – we were those people! Ah, life is an adventure even if you tick people off in the process.
A little photo gallery for your viewing pleasure ~
A fancy new camera to take the most wonderful of photos and the artsy, fartsy ones too!
… the girls on Burrard Street Bridge …
How can one not be proud, I ask you?
… hot trainers & tired feet !
And now … my artsy photo of the bananas.
Another beautiful day on this coastland. Hope all is well in your part of the world. Enjoy life.
